As alumni, entrepreneurs, innovators, and community builders, we carry forward a legacy forged on the sacred grounds of Oakwood University. That legacy shaped our character, sharpened our vision, and propelled us into purpose. Now, we step boldly into the next chapter — not just as beneficiaries of that legacy, but as builders of it.
We will officially launch the OU ’86 Scholarship Endowment and award our first class of scholars. Each spring, four deserving students will receive $500 scholarships — an investment not only in their education, but in their calling. These awards will support students who demonstrate both financial need and exceptional promise — young leaders whose potential deserves momentum.
And this is only the beginning.
Together, we are not just funding scholarships. We are establishing a pipeline of possibility. We are planting seeds of opportunity that will multiply for generations. We are building something that outlives us.
